Norths vs. Gosford Match Results

A big thank you to our friends from Gosford for making the trip, we hope you all got home safely.

The match results were a bit one-sided, despite how evenly matched the teams appeared on paper. Norths took Round 1 by 8.5 to 0.5, and Round 2 by 8 to 1. Interestingly, Gosford outrated Norths on the top two boards, but Norths had strength in the lower boards, tipping the scales our way.

Thanks again to Gosford Chess Club for initiating and proposing this friendly match, we hope it can become a regular event. It was a great evening of chess and camaraderie! Here are the full results.
