Norths Chess Club invites you to our FIDE & ACF rated Allegro tournament this August!

Dates: 8 rounds across two Tuesdays – 19 & 26 August 2025
Time: 7:30 pm start
Venue: Norths (formerly North Sydney Leagues Club), Cnr Abbott & Palmer Streets, Cammeray

Format & Time Control:

• 8-round (Dutch) Swiss, pairings by Vega
• 13 minutes + 3 seconds per move from move 1

Entry Fees:

• Members $10 | Non-members $20
• Free for GM, WGM, IM, WIM
• Late entries: +$10 surcharge

Prizes:

• Open: 1st $300 | 2nd $200 | 3rd $100
• Rating Groups (A & B): $100 each
• Unrated: $75

(Prizes may be awarded by gift cards. Tiebreaks will apply.)

Eligibility:

• Players who are not Australian citizens or permanent residents must hold a FIDE ID (request here)
• Adult entrants must be NSWCA (or other state association) members – join here
